I generally enjoy reading Picoult. This book did not disappoint, although the subject matter is very heavy. I did think that some of the details were a bit contrived. I think This being one of the earlier Picoult books, she has evolved quite a bit as a writer.
Another great Picoult book. I had to finish it in one day because I couldn't wait to find out what happened. A bit contrived at one point, but a few twists kept it interesting.

I'm not against books that are dramatic, or heart-breaking, or controversial. But this book just did not hold my interest. I found it so depressing.

As always, Ms. Picoult explores some intense issues without preaching or taking sides. An excellent read with lots of twists and turns.
