This should have better but it was kind of weak. There was a lot of talk about the pressures of writing, and i kept thinking she had a deadline on this book and just pushed it out. The whole section on the writer teaching a writing class was trite and predictable. I loved Open House but have been disappointed with her since.

Worth it for the description of a fantasy become reality. Also enjoyed that it is an "older" love story of sorts.

This book I really enjoyed. It was also the first book I read on the kindle app for my phone. While I thought I would not enjoy that experience, it turns out that I really have. It's great for travelling except for not being able to read at takeoff and landing.
This particular novel is set mostly in Chicago, one of my favorite cities, and I read part of it while I was travelling to Chicago for business. A good read in great circumstances. ...more
