A wartime story of a white Russaian girl as she moves through the major changes in her life brought about by the times she lived in.As the cover blurb says it is about the "powerful lifelong bond between mother and daughter". An entertaining read, parts of it seem a little disjointed as she moves from one stage of her life to another.
