hated Schweblin's previous book in English, Fever Dream, so picked this one up with some trepidation. Thankfully, it was much more comprehensible, but I was still somewhat underwhelmed by this one relative to the glowing reviews I'd read. It's constructed as a series of linked stories, all based on the premise that there are these new things called "kentukis" which are basically fluffy little robot animals with cameras that are set up on an anonymous 1-to-1 network.
