This was such a satisfying read.
Quick-paced and well-plotted, with prose that fades into the background in service of story and character. It reads true to a certain sort of rural life (unlike many books set in rural areas), making it an incredibly fun twist on urban fantasy as a genre. The Tufa are very interesting, to say the least, and I'm looking forward to the next book.
