A very good entry in a new mystery series, this book will please fans of both foodie mysteries as well as fans of cozies. Set in a somewhat dilapidated restaurant right beside train tracks, the story starts out with a questionable customer being murdered while the restaurant is closed. The owner and her niece are confused about what he was doing in the restaurant after hours, and since he was a tell-all, dig-up-the-dirt reporter, they aren't even sure why he was eating lunch there regularly.
