This was our Book Club's pick. Eight book club members attended our together yesterday, and no one liked this book. One lady said it was the worst book that she ever read. Everyone agreed it was boring. Actually, I, along with one other lady, didn't really appreciate the book, but we were the only ones who didn't hate it.

Beautifully written story of a retired couple's weekend in Amsterdam. Throughout that weekend the author shows us the issues they are currently dealing with from each perspective as well as the backstory of their lives. Parts of it were heartbreaking and we were divided as to how we felt their future was going to unfold. Lots of fuel for discussion.
