What Members Thought
I enjoyed this book, could relate to the characters and the story line was believable. I know many people in similar situation as the main character Cassie and you start rooting for her for getting out of an abusive marriage and returning to where she feels safe and reuniting with her sisters. She meets a nice guy through the Habitat for Community and she is being cautious about the relationship because of her past with her abusive ex-husband who is serving time for the abuse. Maybe 2.5 stars. I've liked the few DM books I've read, but this book just wasn't doing it for me. The characters all seemed a little too two-dimensional and the story was saccharine sweet.
