I probably shouldn't be rating this, since I didn't finish it. But I've spent too much time trying to read it. For me, yet another Pynchon language bath, that can by enjoyable, very funny, but ultimately frustrating. Moreover, I didn't like what he was doing with a genre (noir) that I like, which compounded my dislike and frustration.
