I was bored with the writer's style of reading her own work and had a hard time finishing this book. I almost didn't because I never really embraced the characters. Out of respect for servicemen and the recent Memorial day holiday, I continued on, but I'm not recommending this to others as it just didn't hold my interest. ...more
