It’s hard to write a book review of a book you don’t like (no, let’s be honest...hate). I almost never finish a book I don’t like. Sometimes, though, a book I don’t like is on a list of books that I’m trying to complete, and I feel compelled to read to the end, hoping, always hoping, that the book will improve.
In the case of this book, I started out with incredibly high hopes: I would read the book in Spanish. It’s a children’s book, right? Certainly I could do that.
