What Members Thought
I love the main characters in this story-a can of pork n beans, a sock, a silver spoon, a stick-I thought that was brilliant. This novel helped me develop my beliefs about religion.
Too long with descriptions and characters that went nowhere. A lot of build-up but then nothing. I kept thinking as I read it that it was Tom Robbins' fantasy through his repertoire of older, creepy men have sex with the young filly. I threw away my copy of his other novel as I won't be reading that one, now that I've had enough of Robbins.

Bizzarly engaging and thought-provoking. Loved it.
The prose was poetry.
