Don't believe the stories you have heard about me. I have never killed anyone, and I have never stolen another woman's husband.
I do love a great first line!!!
I loved the first 90% of this book, my love for the story rose above any issues I had. But the ending ... Sigh. The ending was Not Good. Too many bad things happen in too short a time, and then things are tied up too neatly too quickly.

I really, really enjoyed reading this book. I completely enjoyed the very pictorial descriptions of Kenya, at times you could close your eyes and picture yourself there (almost a bit Proustian). The main characters although scarred were for the most part likable, and you could relate to their actions. But I think what really hooked me was that the dialogue was sassy and witty throughout the book. I hope there will be another related novella/epilogue because the end left me craving for more.
