4 stars because Sarah Dessen's books just soothe me, but it felt pretty familiar, and I'd love to see her push herself in terms of story. (I also love her books set in Colby, but now I want to go to the beeeeach.)

I generally enjoy Sarah Dessen's novels, and this one is no exception. Ironically, I identified a lot with Theo :) This book gave me the perspective from the other side, which was nice.
