Not my favorite in the series. Like the continued humor of these books, but this one was a little thin and so predictable the Inspector was clearly off his game. All the women were one dimensional - beautiful and seductive. The relationships of the series are not furthered; the interaction with the Italian setting is slim.
Not as amusing as other books in the series, Cat has a minor role in this one and he is my favorite character. The guilty person is much to easy to determine and the motive is obvious.
