What Members Thought

This was less interesting than the first one. It seemed to get off track and be more prosaic in terms of the author getting philosophical via the characters. Also Nora seemed almost secondary to the plot through parts of this. The current murder mystery was in the forefront and the ancient one took a serious back seat, almost to the point of an afterthought which needed fifty extra pages to wind up because it had been left to languish during the book.

Hart captures the soul of Irish life very well, but her mystery hinges rather heavily on the convenient overhearing of several key conversations. Sorry - I don't believe anyone's that lucky.

Irish mystery about the death of a man found in a bog. Lots of information about Irish superstitions, myths, and traditions, plus a couple of sweet love stories
