Back in 2014, I read The Sense of an Ending by Julian Barnes, in which a character was introduced by reading a book by Zweig, so of course I had to find out more about Zweig, and I have been reading him off and on, since then. Everything I have read by him, I have liked. His writing, even in translation is just beautiful, flowing, and as Aciman said in his Intro, fluent.
