If you are still working on a list of books you want to acquire for beach reading, I’d not hesitate to recommend this book for that list. Heidi sets off for Provence on a mission for her mother to repair damage to an old family home there. Heidi’s husband was killed a year earlier and she can’t shake her sadness at her loss. Along with Heidi are her troubled teenage niece and her obsessive-compulsive young son.
