What Members Thought
I really enjoyed The Namesake, and expected more out of this book.
A bit disappointing since I expected really high on this book... I love Jhumpa Lahiri (still do) but I wished she could do something more with the story and characters. This book feels to flat for me, very dull in some parts, although the writing is still really good. Look forward to the next one!
I wasn't very impressed with this book. Neither the writing nor the characters really got to me like they have in Lahiri's other books.
