This story is very reminiscent of the Simenon mysteries which I devoured years ago when they were all new to me. It takes place in France and has a very French 'feel' to it, if you know what I mean. The mystery in the plot was good, but the ambiance and the characters were just as good. It made me feel like I was back in France again and that I should just go get a ticket and fly there. I will definitely be reading more of these!
