I received this book through the Goodreads Giveaways program. This book was a slow-starter for me, mainly due to the fact that I was woefully uninformed on the Desi culture (or any Indian culture, for that matter) and so I would re-read things a couple of times and sometimes stop to do some research when something piqued my curiosity.
