What Members Thought
Mercury, set in a small town in Nova Scotia, jumps from 1859 to 2009 to reveal a connection between two young women who lived on the same piece of land. While the story isn't overall earth-shattering, I'm pleased to read a book set in that province which shows snippets of the long history as well as contemporary life. The jab about Toronto fashion was kind of adorable. The story is very PG (though a murder/death occurs off-panel and a skeleton has a cameo). Also, I like how there is a quiet exam
