I just reread The Rent Collector. It is a beautifully written reminder that sometimes the most beautiful things can be found in unexpected places. It captures the power that can come through words and literacy.

This is definitely the best book I read this summer. Even better, I actually got to visit Cambodia. This story is so heartfelt and moving and I loved it so much. Read it!!
