The was a wonderful addition to the Holocaust canon. The Turkish diplomatic corps is trying to do everything in it's power to keep the it's Turkish nationals in France out of the clutches of the Nazi Concentration Camps.

Quite an interesting and illuminating book on the role of Turkey during WWII and the fate of Turkish citizens in occupied France. Wasn't too sold on the central love story and the large cast of characters got a bit confusing, especially towards the end, but still a very interesting read.

Wow, the narrator in this audiobook is awful. I like the story, though, so it's a good thing I have it in ebook format as well. But for now, it goes back into the to-read pile.
