Standard Hiaasen, but also a monkey.
I thoroughly enjoyed this. I wanted something different, something interesting and a little more fasted pace than what I've been picking up lately, this did the job. I love how diverse and interesting all the characters are. There's a lot going on too, so few narratives at once which was awesome. The humor is great and I really, really Hiaasen's writing style. Look forward to reading more from him.

Not as laugh out loud as the other Hiaasen books I have read. I liked Skinny Dip the best.Still good summer entertainment/
Great but probably goes on a little too long. My first CH (recommended by my father-in-law, a great reader) and I will definitely be reading more.
Andrew Yancy has been demoted to restaurant inspector from police officer due to an unfortunate incident involving a vacuum cleaner and his girlfriends husband. Andrew decides that if he can prove the owner of an arm he has been entrusted with was murdered instead of dying in a boat accident that he can get back on the police force. Lots of typical Hiaasen mayhem ensues.
