I really liked When Crickets Cry and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. I'd rate it as 4.5 if 1/2 stars were possible. It's uplifting and helped me be more grateful for how amazing hearts are and that mine and my family's hearts are so healthy. ...more

I would give this 3.5 stars if I could. I really enjoy his writing style. The book was definitely interesting, esp. if you are interested in children who are abuse survivors. Not superb, but worth a read for sure.
