Not quite as satisfying as the first two. The first was my favorite, the second one introduced a great comedic character. This one tied it all up but I felt like it was missing something... Still, enjoyable overall.

This was the strongest of the three. Just as with Ruby, there are mysteries to solve and powers to learn, but unlike Sapphire, I didn't find myself annoyed with people intentionally hiding things from Gwen. The opposite, really - a lot of people gave her information in this book, and the info-hiders didn't play as big a part here.

The conclusion was satisfying, but maybe a bit too ... HEA.

This is, above all, YA fluff. The characters are fun to spend time with, but not especially memorable or dee

Schönes Ende! Das hat den gestreckten Anfang echt gerettet.

Alle, die es schon gelesen haben, wissen, wovon ich rede: Der letzte Absatz! Wie cool! Super Idee von Kerstin Gier!

Locker flockig geschrieben, eine süße Liebesgeschichte und ein spannenden Showdown, in dem es um Leben und Tod geht. Eine gute Mischung.
Wer Teil 1 und 2 gelesen hat, muss Teil 3 einfach lesen. Und wer nicht - der sollte schnell Teil 1 lesen ;)

The last installment of the Precious Stones trilogy has many twists and turns for our favorite time travelers Gwen and Gideon. Gwen had previously believed that Gideon was in love with her but then discovered what she believed to be his unscrupulous manipulations of her emotions. Still, she has to work with him to try to stall the insidious plans of Count Saint Germain to produce the philosopher stone the completion of the Circle of Blood. The side characters like Xerioumus (however you spell that) and Lesley made the series enjoyable for me. The time traveling element was the whole reason I wanted to read this series and it was underused in my opinion. Too much focus on the love drama and the stuff with the count was a tad predictable but despite that I still enjoyed it for being a fun read. This final book to the series was a good wrap up for the series but I'm going to miss my favorite gargoyle ghost thingy lol. ...more
