The intriguing science fiction novel foreshadowed/created cyberspace and cyberpunk. The consensual space of computers and their impact on human consciousness can be seen in its original, seminal form in this novel.

I guess I just don't like much sci fic. I thought since this one had a quasi medical angle in it that I could get into it, but there was too much suspension of disbelief for me to really get with it. I tried.

Really enjoyed this. Had put off reading it for years as I don't really read science fiction any longer (overdid it in my youth!) It became one of the "can't put down" books.
