I absolutely loved this story!
With a few minor changes, Lucia could have been
my mom.

A compelling theme to me in a story is an
exploration of what could have been.

This was the first I had read by this author. I thought it was lovely, I couldn't put it down, when I had to put it down I missed it, I was totally satisfied by the ending.

I will be looking for others by this author.
