What Members Thought
This is a forgettable book to me. I didn’t connect with any of the characters and would have while passages I didn’t pay attention to as I noticed my mind wandering. And I just didn’t care to rewind on the audiobook except for a brief fleeting thought of, “what did I just miss” at the end. Even being short, I didn’t have the motivation to give it a second try ona different sat. I don’t understand the hype and it would really bum me out if forced to read this and analyze it for school.
A sweet story.
Beautifully written novella about a girl who is sent to live with relatives one summer when her mom is expecting another baby. Previously neglected, she blossoms in her new setting.
