I will continue the series as it is a genre I don't really read and I'm curious to know more about the sirens. Not really any surprises of the action that is unfolding, but the description of the group of sirens and their changes are interesting. I didn't like that the mom is institutionalized for a traumatic brain injury - and the main problem there is her memory and her hostile mood swings, but she is able to listen and be in the moment.
