Ok, I'm about to let you in on a secret. I'm a sucker for teen romance. It's my guilty pleasure. Not the sparkly-vampire-romance, but the John Green/Rainbow Rowell types of romance. There's just something so sweet about the innocence of first love, when holding hands and kissing is a big deal.

The first story by Maureen Johnson was good, but it was all downhill from there. So when 2/3 of the book was not great, I have to rate it as I did.
Green's short story's female protagonist was basically the embodiment of the "not like the other girls" trope, which made me cringe down to the depths of my soul. A cute,romantic trio of connected stories.
Really written for someone MUCH younger than I.
This was pure unadulterated sap, but it was really well-written pure unadulterated sap.
