I loved the first 100 pages or so, and I loved the ending. The middle had too much backstory for me, so it loses a star. (Fantastic audio performance as well.)
But I dare you to read this book and not be moved. You'd have to have the heart of a stone. I also loved the characters, particularly the young girl, Havaa, who will grab your heart right from the start.
