Îmi plac foarte mult romanele scrise de Nicholas Sparks și mă bucur că am reușit să citesc Refugiul. Este un roman care te absoarbe ca un burete și nu te mai lasă liber decât la final, când tulburarea își spune cuvântul. Nu am perceput această carte ca pe ceva siropos sau plictisitor, ci am făcut cunoștința cu povestea de viață a lui Katie, o tânără care se luptă cu (...)

If you can swallow how all the major characters get into their respective positions, the ending though totally expected is a pleasant one.

This is probably my favorite Nicholas Sparks book to date. I love how Sparks shows the reader what's going on in Kevin's (the wife-beater)mind... He really can't see that he's doing something wrong. The ending was a bit hokey, and I felt like it wrapped up a little too quickly. ...more
