Overall the stories tugged at my heart and I was pulled into most of the characters' background story.

Unfortunately, there are too many characters, and it wasn't easy remembering everyone of them. I had to reference back many times to figure out who was who.

Having said that, I love how the story flows, and the fact that everyone interacted in a special way with each other.

I am tempted to join a cooking class myself after reading this! ...more

Good book. Pace initially seemed slow, then I relaxed into it - and thoroughly savored it. A beautiful book.
