This book was described as the Catch-22 of the Iraq war, and I think that's with good reason. The juxtaposition of young (very young) soldiers, accidental heroes of war, against the complacent, wealthy Texans who inhabit box seats at the Cowboys stadium is absolutely absurd. And at the same, the absurdity is completely real - while these young men, many still teenagers, reflect on their heroic experience in battle, they realize that back in America, people have gone on living their comfortable l
