Too long for the little bit that happens. Sappy and predictable, not anywhere near her best writing.
Overall this book was okay if it had been written by someone else. If you've read any of Hannah's other books, this was disappointing. The story was slow and predictable. I didn't care for any of the characters (which is SO different from Hannah's other books), they all came across slightly annoying. Even the little boy (Bret) who's nine years old but should really be 6-7 from his behavior (throughout).
