In general, most readers like the sequel to If I Stay better than the first book itself. I find myself a bit torn though, as I loved Mia's family, and they are not quite as present in 'Where She Went' (when their photographs popped up near the end I was so excited/sad/overwhelmed).

Being able to have closure for the main characters of If I Stay and for the readers is incredibly satisfying. This book shows Adam's pain palpably and gives more of the backstory of their relationship. Satisfying!

This is a wonderful book. i didn't remember much about the first book, but I didn't need to. The story is told from Adam's perspective. I loved the role the music played in this book, and the mystery surrounding Mia, and what happened to her. I was quite content with the ending.
