Enjoyed this book--another one focused on the insurgent warfare along the Af-Pak border. This one's action takes place down in Paktika Province, a porous border where Taliban insurgents flow back & forth, seeking to influence local residents & to kill American/coalition soldiers. Unbelievable numbers of firefights & attacks, including rockets, IEDs, etc. that were going on in this area, at least back in the mid-aughties (2005-2010 or so).
