I'm a great proponent of the saying, "There's my story. There's your story. And then there's the truth."
And I am a big, big fan of Jon Krakauer. Along with most of America, I read Greg Mortenson's Three Cups of Tea when I was working for the local school board not long after it came to popularity in the mid-2000s. Naturally, we were all big fans of this amazing story of education piercing the darkness.
