Apparently I grabbed one of my 16 year olds books off the shelf. Who knew? I want to say that I'm very impressed by this author. She told a good story & it wasn't full of the Pollyanna/moral overtones that are so often found in young adult books. This book would be a great parent/teenager book to discuss. There's alot in it. It would also be a good book for a bereavement support group for teenagers that have lost parents. I plan to recommend it for groups that I facilitate.

Really really sweet story and extremely recommendable. This seems to be so realistic. The problems, the feelings. And also the love story. I love this book!!! Only little little minus is the abrupt end. More details would have been great ;) btw this would do a great movie!
This is probably my favorite book by the author so far. I loved the characters, Macy was so real and going through very real issues, despite being perfect. A great quick vacation read!
