I have not seen the show on the Bridgertons, so I decided to read the book, to get an idea of what it's about. I did think the book was very funny, I laughed quite a bit. I liked the scandal sheet that preceded each chapter, and I enjoyed the Bridgerton family. I wished that there was more of the Regency period in the book.

This was a fun read to refresh my memory of Season 1 of Bridgertons on Netflix as I anticipate season 2. I laughed out loud several times and enjoyed the witty dialog. I read this during a family emergency and it was exactly what the doctor ordered.
Read it because I watched the series on tv. Dreadful in so many ways.
