I've heard good things about this author, and this book gets good reviews on-line, but I was quite disappointed when I started reading it. The writing just doesn't compare well with the authors I just finished (Bourne and Willig). This one is a typical trashy romance with (stereo)typical two-dimensional characterizations. However, it did keep me up into the wee hours reading, so I guess that means it's a good trashy romance!

I’m one of those people that has to read the book before I watch the show. After reading this book, I’m so excited to watch the show because this book was remarkable.The story was easy to follow and the storyline was like reading a soap opera. I was pleasantly surprised by the writing and really liked the witty banter between the characters.

This was a fun read to refresh my memory of Season 1 of Bridgertons on Netflix as I anticipate season 2. I laughed out loud several times and enjoyed the witty dialog. I read this during a family emergency and it was exactly what the doctor ordered.

Very fun, very cute! Loved the humor in it and it was fun comparing the similarities and differences to the Netflix show. I had read a bit of another series by her and really enjoy her writing. Will definitely continue on with this series!
