What a delightful book full of quirky characters! The Belle family, all the way back to matriarch Musette, has shocked the citizens of Leaping Fork, Tennessee, for generations, and they aren't about to stop now. When Adam Montgomery moves to town to start a doctor's office, he becomes fascinated and eventually entwined with the Belle family, whose mansion is next to his. All sorts of strange things happen in the story, but all keep the reader turning pages and wanting to know what happens next.
