This is a wonderful debut novel set in Paris, with a fascinating main character. The writing is superb, and is reminiscent of Simenon's or Agatha Christie's or Donna Leon's works. The mystery itself is very good, but there is an ambience in the Paris setting that adds another level of sophistication, as well as intrigue, to the story. I can't wait to read more in this series because it was a very satisfying and pleasant read. ...more
