What Members Thought
Probably the thinnest entry so far. That said, I was pretty well hooked for most of the novel. The subject in this book was the uncomfortable (for Beck & crew) issue of Police brutality, along with the official cover-ups. The book opens with the savage murder of a retired police inspector in a hospital. He recognizes his killer right before he's killed. What unfolds is not really much of a mystery, so I don't think it's revealing much to say that the murdered cop is a notoriously bad one. I'm un
