My Interest
As so often happens, I needed an audio for my now reduced commute [3 days per week–2 work at home days] and a friend had just posted on Goodreads that she had enjoyed this. Nothing on my TBR was avaiable [let me rephrase that, nothing on my enormous Goodreads’s TBR was avaiable that interested me at that moment] so I checkedmy library’s e-audio ap and yes! It was avaiable.

A very interesting journey into the culinary world of France, this story follows a young immigrant who becomes a successful chef in the classic French cooking tradition. There is a sub-plot of the story that deals with the treatment of immigrants, but most of the story is about the cooking success of the very talented young chef.
