What Members Thought

Everything I've read about this book had me expecting to love it, and what a disappointment this was. Maybe I just need to give up on "humor" books, because I am 0 for 5 now (the 5 including Amy Poehler, Tina Fey, Mindy Kaling, David Sedaris, and this book).

he 2 stars reflect what gets your rocks off - I enjoyed the stories she told that involve friends and family and some of her observations (I'd give these sections 3-4 stars), but her hyper neurotic (often the most long-winded sections) behavior and her retelling of said behavior I found mostly uninteresting and a bit shrill/over the top. Humor is preferential.
