I was apprehensive going in, given the conflicting reviews but I thought I'd see for myself since sometimes I disagree with the rants.
In this case, I agree with the rants. I lasted 7% in. I was fine with the staccato writing and liked the noir feel but the repetitive "I itch. I scratch." was starting to give me hallucinogenic rashes. ...more
