This is a very good YA novel that adults can also enjoy. Will West has been encouraged by his parents to be 'invisible' in the sense of not doing things to get himself noticed. However, one day when he goes out for his morning run, men in a black car chase him in an attempt to kidnap him. For the most part, I really enjoyed this book and I'm certainly looking forward to the next one. But I felt like this book could have used a more throughly explained and less vague mythology.
